ahhh I have no been drawing lately but I made another #Bourwer clown :) bee.... #fursona #furry #oc #clown #art
#bourwer
Quoma’s new design! I maintained her blue palette, but simplified a lot of things to match with the inspiration better. She’s still the smallest of the trio in spite of everything, and just as fierce.
Dexter! Initially meant to be a vintage version of my main fursona ‘Dopradex’ — at the time I was interested in making a game, at the ripe old age of 13, and so, had a lot of varieties of clowns, not unlike how FNaF functions. He’s now his own unique character, completely separate from his inspiration, both as a version of Dopradex, and a Huggy Wuggy thing. This new iteration is still the tallest, and just as simple, though he’s much less violent.
Quoma’s original design. The art hasn’t held up… the best, but without her we wouldn’t have the new version. She was a “looks can be deceiving” sort of character, cute, but the most violent of her group. She was also much more complex. I slimmed down her palette in her redesign, and got rid of the starry sky motif, but her name is still the same!
His Huggy Wuggy inspiration is clear in his original design. I still think the art is cute, and he’s my favourite out of the three in spite of everything, but I think he was well-deserving of a new look, to distinguish him from his inspiration further.
Finished two redesigns of some old characters! They were initially based off Huggy Wuggy when I first designed them (as I was a fan of the game at the time), but I gave them their own unique coat of paint, which I think I succeeded with! Based off Rushton dolls 🧸 #bourwer #clown #furry #anthro #oc
His new design! Made his white components more yellowed, and reduced some of his spots, but otherwise, he’s the same design for the most part. I do think I lost that charm the old art had, but I’m happier with him overall.
The original Toad. I think his old art still holds up fairly well, but I wanted to refresh some of my references to be consistent, and he’s a favourite of mine.
🤡 🐸 Toad redesign finished! Made him more yellowed, since I’m trying to stray away from stark-white with my designs nowadays #bourwer #bourwerclown #clown #furry #art #oc
Maude! A chunky mother that likes gardening. Would give her a cuddle, too bad she’s DEAD. She contracted ABLV or something.
Another redesign! One of my newer ones, this time of a character’s mum. Quite proud of her outfit on this one. #bourwer
I like how velvety smooth he looks in this one. Looks very warm and touchable, even if he isn’t. I think I’d try anyway 😋
A painting I did of Urei a while ago to go with his new redesign I posted — spurred the decision to give him beautiful eyelashes. #bourwer
Urei, the God of Death in my universe. I think the anatomy improvement is massive compared to his old design, and feels a lot more serious, in spite of the lashes ✨ His coat got a more tattered look to reflect his circumstances, and in general, he grew darker — I tried to go for some sort of executioner motif with his neck, but I’m not sure if it worked LOL
His old designs for context. A lot brighter, and closer to his true original art than his new one. The anatomy is revolting in comparison. Do think the old one’s harness is a little more iconic, at least in illustrations, but removing the spikes felt necessary for it to work as a tangible item (I was just too lazy to modify the coat to reflect the spikes under it)
His TRUE original design. The age of the art is definitely clear in comparison to my new stuff. I still quite like his face in this one, and it was a solid foundation to work off of, in my opinion. He has lost a few piercings and bracelets since then.
Finished a redesign of one of my #bourwer clowns from my story! Felt he needed a new coat of paint to reflect his sinister nature more. Definitely a lot happier with this design compared to his old ones.
