BOYCOTT COMPLICIT CONGRESSES

In another glaring example of the Palestine exception, the World Archaeological Congress (WAC), chose to ignore 446 signatories from around the world, representing all six inhabited continents, calling for impactful action in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

WAC, an organisation which prides itself on its history of principled action in supporting and uplifting indigenous voices, chose to ignore the Palestinian-led call for freedom, equality and justice. WAC chose “diplomacy” with the oppressor over solidarity with the oppressed.
