Then again me saying this makes me sound like one of those ultra-entitled #BringBackNationalDex turds.
It’s quite well-known the Pokémon fandom in general is extremely entitled and elitist.
From seeing the returning Pokémon in the Mega Dimension DLC, I see some of them didn't make it in. I'm expecting a flurry of #BringBackNationalDex from the toxic fans that got salty over their favorites not being in it.

These toxic fans just kept spamming the #BringBackNationalDex hashtag like there's no tomorrow to the point where even Game Freak, The Pokemon Company, and Masuda got sick and tired of it. Even Twitter of all sites is fed up with it to the point of shadowbanning these fans!

Everyone spamming "Drop the price" in the comments of Nintendo posts reminds me a lot of #BringBackNationalDex and it's probably gonna end the same way: Nothing will change and it'll still do gangbusters like Pokemon SwSh because, let's be frank, Nintendo know its audience, to say the least.

Unfortunately ever since that time when some #BringBackNationalDex supporter decided to slander Junichi Masuda with fake rape allegations, I can never take any criticisms of the Pokémon games - regardless of how valid they are - seriously ever again, without suspecting there’s some ulterior motive.
I still have yet to buy #PokemonSwordShield, because they still have yet to #BringBackNationalDex.
I don't care if I'm in a shunned minority anymore, the fight isn't over until the Pokémon win, or I die.
Otherwise, no #PokemonPresents will ever do anything for me.
On one hand, the Dex is still incomplete.
On the other hand, they've confirmed it's roughly half done with the expansion.

While I deleted that tweet because I realized I shouldn't be so reckless with money, I will at least have more interest in playing #PokemonSwordShield if they somehow, in anyway #BringBackNationalDex in the #PokemonDirect.
The most pessimistic thought/spiciest hot take I have regarding #PokemonSwordShield and #BringBackNationalDex is "Oh boy I can't wait for all the PokéTubers to sing the high-praises, or be purged from Nintendo's whitelists for daring to speak of the flaws".
So how much worse does the Publicity need to get for GameFreak to #BringBackNationalDex?
