#Brollie The House of the Devil, 2009. Retro-70s/80s horror from Ti West: menaced-babysitter/creepy-old-house/satanic-panic tropes but with unexpected twists. #Brollie The Chaser, 2008. Super-exciting grimy Korean thriller with an ex-cop/pimp on the trail of a young man killing his prostitues. Escalating tensions (one sequence reminded me of Playtime!) and highly troubling violence make this a wild ride.
