A mixed-media drawing done with ballpoint pen, markers, and white ink of sporophyte-bearing moss under forest-canopy and sunlight. The art-style is fairly simplistic with thick linework and stark highlights to add finer detail. Yellows and greens are the main colors of the moss and background, while the sporophytes are light-brown.
May be time to intermittently post old sci-art drawings from September 2022... (I'm working on a lot of things, but finishing none of them. High five.)

A patch of green moss on top of a fence post. It has masses of slender shoots with thin reddish stems with a green teardrop shaped blob at the end which curves downwards to form the shape of a swan’s head and neck.
I think this is the delightfully named Swan’s-neck thyme
-moss. It was on top of a fencepost at RSPB Otmoor today.
