Nuctenea umbratica sits patiently, glowing blue under the UV light. Her front 4 eyes are clearly visible as 4 green spots. Her stripy legs sit ready so she can dash out and capture her prey. Her body shines blue with 2 black spots front, centre. She sits on an Alder tree who's bark is gnarled and shines red, brown and green under the UV light. This was a good find.

I've been out rummaging through bushes at night time again! With a UV light too! Look at this cool Walnut orb weaver spider I found. She glowed beautifully. Night time activities are such fun 😁
