All plants being sent out of Victoria must now be accompanied by a PHAC (Plant Health Assurance Certificate.)
New biosecurity regulations regarding the movement of all plant materials out of Victoria came into place in December 2025, specifically to limit the spread of TPP (Tomato Potato Psylid).
Sellers must be accredited with PS-57 Accreditation to send to Qld, and PS-59 to send to SA/NSW/ACT, as well as hold a current IP Number. As annoying as this might seem, these regulations are in place so as to not devastate our already struggling farmers. If plants are sent in a non-compliant manner, you risk your plants being seized and destroyed by Biosecurity.
If you are a buyer, ensure your seller is accredited and can supply a compliant PHAC. If you are a seller, either only sell locally or get accredited. These regulations apply to all plants, whether they are from businesses or private sellers.
