Mount Edgcumbe has a #photohist connection, as Caroline Talbot (half-sister of William Henry Fox Talbot) married Ernest, 3rd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe in 1831, and Talbot made some #calotype images (such as the one below) in the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe during the 1840s
