We had to help her a bit, but she read the OB's post-partum guide. Licked the calf and got it up and sucking in half an hour. Even told me I wasn't really welcome to give it its oral scour vax. Almost makes you think heifers really aren't that bad. Almost. #calving25

And there we go! #calving25 has started. I am notorious for predicting the start of calving and being wrong by a factor of weeks. This year though..... bang on!! Well even a stuck clock is right twice a day!

Heifers. They sure do look good when you buy them. Full of promise and hope.
