Preheat oven to 400. Peel and cut Eastham turnips and onion into one-inch pieces. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper and a pinch of thyme. Spread in a single layer in a baking pan and cook 30-40 minutes.

One cool thing is that tomorrow is the turnip festival. Eastham turnips are famous worldwide. I swear they are. Like Lima Beans from Cape May. I wonder if all Cape something or others have reigning vegetables or fruits.
