First, everyone deserves food, period. I don't care who or what they do or fail to do. Housing, medical care, utilities and internet, too, to be honest. It's 2025. All of those are basic needs. Second, I'd rather tax dollars go to the non-rich, for any reason, or no reason, than to the rich, for any reason. The rich should pay their own way, and the poor have the taxpayer assistance they need to live, instead of merely existing. People need to be treated like people, not servants, serfs, or slaves.
