The truck is a patchwork of yellow, dark grey primer, light grey primer, red oxide primer, bondo, and iron oxide. The front fender has a novel, "splash" type of custom paint treatment in dark grey and red primers in the style of the era in which this truck was last halfway cared about. The rear window is missing, and the Firestone "Super Sports" raised white letter tire on the rear chrome wheel is almost old enough to start getting AARP letters in the mail. In the background, on the other side of a privacy fence, you can see the second floors of new homes that are rapidly losing their property values. It is an overcast, moody sky.

Today's VDD Crush is just for fellow #carweirdos. It's a 1978 Ford Courier with a STEP SIDE BED (gasp) As per my usual, it is dirty cheap ($600) and rough as a cob. I luv it. (heh)

Driver's side front 3/4 photo of a white 1966 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon sitting in the dirt at an unnamed salvage yard. The body and paint look to be in very good condition for a 60 year old automobile. All trim appears to be present, including the huge roof rack and fender mounted turn signal indicators. No rust or dents can be seen in this view, although it looks as the auto was recently placed in this location by a huge articulated end loader with forks on it, so undercarriage damage is likely.

The only rust or dents that can be seen in this view are on the bottom of the quarter panel behind the wheelwell. All the tires are flat, and there don't appear to be any hubcaps present.

Hey, fellow #carweirdos ! Today's VDD Crush is a 1966 Chrysler Town and Country wagon. I had a '66 Chrysler 300 4 door hardtop, and think '66 is the pinnacle of C-Body styling. My car was an extraordinary highway cruiser, as I would expect from this as well once it was sorted out.
