I have learned that when people ask about your cancer/treatment, about 75% of the time they want to talk about the cancer/treatment of themself or a loved one. Which, I get the instinct to make that conversational connection, but I guess as a patient, be prepared to gently redirect.

my physical therapists are so nice and I hate doing the physical therapy so much
I am making progress, tho! they have a little thingy that measures how strong my arms are pushing in different directions so the numbers say I'm doing better!

Also my scar tissue is angry. Feels weird to say that boob hurts bc 3/4 of it is numb and also the hurt is to the side of the boob and the incision on the underside and up toward the armpit area where they were rummaging around digging for fucking gold or whatever

So far the stupidest part about breast cancer is that when I have old-mariner-style pain in old injuries when the weather changes, it's my boob that hurts. Murderboob predicts rain.

the pharmacist talked to me about this med, by which I mean she said that if I have an allergic reaction I should (rash) talk to my doctor or (throat closes up) call 911

okay I have updated my spreadsheet and I think maybe I have reached the out of pocket INCLUDING the bills I just got so I have paid those. I think I'm on the right track and do not have to call insurance.

the only treatment left is 3 years of estrogen blockers. wondering whether to use this hashtag or #millenopause for that given that it won't be actual menopause, just the fun symptoms
