When I wrote this post I didn't realise that the 35 litre Iron Age #cauldron aka possible brew kettle (I reckon that's what it is) would feature prominently in the accompanying photo. You can appreciate its size compared with the remains of the wheels. You can also see the rock that damaged it.

The Melsonby Hoard is obviously of interest for those fabulous horse harnesses, for the chariot or wagon wheels and all the fittings. That big damaged 35 litre #cauldron interests me the most. A brew kettle? It's been suggested the smaller cauldron was 'for mixing wine' but I don't know about that.๐บ

A brew kettle is the vessel in which the brewer heats lots of water, an essential part of the ale/beer brewing process. In the discovery at Melsonby the larger #cauldron was badly damaged when someone threw a very big rock at it. Not a friendly act. See Figure 3 of the report (see above for link). ๐บ

Zecora the anthro zebra is adding some ingredients to a boiling cauldron, fire beneath it. She stands tall and holds onto her staff with a scary mask for a headpiece. Curvy and unashamed, she is technically not nude as she wears something - "something" being golden neckrings, earrings, and bracelets - and a belt with potions attached to it!
