Harvest Moon Festival (Chuseok) Korean Edition Today is #chuseok, the Korean iteration of #harvestmoon! It’s great to get together, put on colorful #hanbok, and eat all day. My family takes it old school with performing a #charae ceremony first thing in the morning to give thanks. My favorite part is physically opening the front door at the start to invite the #ancestors in; I imagine a gaggle of old timey ghosts, happy to visit us. Afterwards, it's time for #kpop #karaoke and #danceparty. I love being able to share these traditions with the kids, both old and new. Happy Chuseok!
