This fascination with ancient Egyptian culture and art translated into every conceivable form to quench the thirst of the avid public! This is one of the finer products from that period not of precious materials. Measures 7.75" wearable length by 3/4" wide. Unmarked. Excellent antique condition.

A finely detailed and evocative design that transports you to the time of the pharaohs and the pyramids! Each measures 7/8" by 3/4" and the pair weigh 11 grams total. Each cufflink is marked in two places with Egyptian silver hallmarks for 800 silver, and a makers mark that I don't recognize. Excellent vintage condition.

Based on the Cromwell tank, the FV4101 Charioteer Medium Tank was a British medium tank of the early 1950s. Weight limits on the Cromwell’s suspension meant that the turret for the Charioteer had minimal armour (20-30mm), while at the same time being larger to accommodate the 84 mm (3.3 in) Ordnance QF 20 pounder gun (the Cromwell had a Ordnance QF 75 mm gun). While the Charioteer was being manufactured, the British Army underwent a re-organization and only a few entered service. The surplus vehicles were sold to Austria, Finland, Jordan and Lebanon. Around 442 were produced.
