The inflated seed pods of love-in-the-mist look like hot air balloons surrounded by green netting. The pods are green with maroon stripes running from top to bottom. The top of the pods are flattened, star shaped, with long wavy "arms" coming out from the points of the stars, reminding me of starfish and their tentacles. There are myriad water drops over everything because of recent sprinkling.

Misted the love-in-a-mist. Watering the children's garden early in the morning. I love those seed pods!
