Went to the Asian grocery store and bought fresh tofu: made : SHANGHAI-STYLE CENTURY EGG & TOFU from #chinesecookingdemystified and cold tofu with cucumber vinaigrette from #NancySingletonHachisu. The third side dish was natto with chili oil and lots of scallions. Yummy. #tofu #natto #cucumber

Yesterday's dinner is one of my favorites, even though I only discovered it about a year ago: 老奶洋芋 - Yunnan Grandma's Mashed Potatoes. Used yacai; I can't really imagine sauerkraut going well with this dish. As always, the recipe is not mine. #chinesecookingdemystified #potatoes #plantbased
