Made the mistake of leaving the car radio on #CKNW. Heard the most putrid excuse of a radio show called the Ben Mulroney Show. It's like the low lights of the now defunct Sun TV come back to life with a hopped-up over caffeinated version of Donald Jr. Just awful.
#CKNW rebranding as CKNW 730. Corus shutting down the storied Vancouver 980 frequency, and presumably the antenna farm on Highway 15. That site will likely be sold. Let's face it, the future of AM radio isn't over the air, it is streaming. Basically a massive cost-savings venture.
And that seals it. @jasjohal.bsky.social just a few minutes ago also said he agrees with the DJT. I am all for finding common ground across the political spectrum but there can be NO agreement with that man who quite literally should be in prison for all his admitted & denied crimes.
