Building on my PCB face plate idea, how about a PCB front and back (with the main board in between) and a TPU band round the edge hugging it all in place 🤔 this is just a basic test, but I think it might just work... #Pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32

So I ordered some test boards for the face plate idea! The main legends are cut into the copper so they can be backlit. I need a bit more silkscreen round the legends so they can be read without backlight, and the font could be a bit bigger, but they look great 😃 #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32

I have been playing with the idea of a PCB inlay for the front of the case to add some flair and make the button legends a bit easier to see 😄 looks kinda nice if I do say so myself 🤣 #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32

You don't have to rely on whatever add-on cards I come up with to extend functionality! With 2 STEMMA/Qwiic connectors on 2 different groups of pins for maximum flexibility! You can even use GROVE boards with the right cable! #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32 #stemma #qwiic #grove

Getting some more ideas together for CL-32 add on boards! This one has a 6x6 grid of LEDs connected to the i/o pins. It would be great for teaching programming loops and converting images to pixels. The chip on there is an EEPROM to store examples and demo code 😀 #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32

I was made aware of surface mount breadboard and so I borrowed the idea for my CL-32 breakout. The i/o pins are broken out down the sides, and the power/gnd are at each end. All the pads in the middle are unconnected for your soldering pleasure 😄 standard 2.54mm pitch too 😉 #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32

The new board lets me try even more screens! The one at the bottom is a slight bump in resolution (168x384 rather than 128x296) and it flickers a little less while updating which is a bit nicer! #pi0cket #CL32 #ESP32
