Finally finished my #coloursofthesea blanket. #craft #fibreart #tunisiancrochet
Calm sea merging into the sky with two wooden groynes visible
The sea was perfectly still today and merging tonally with the sky, there was just a faint hint of turquoise in the water.

Didn't do anything over the summer, too hot. Carrying on now with the border. Same wool but different effect as shorter rows. Under artificial light it looks less blue/green and more brown than it is #tunisiancrochet #coloursofthesea #craft #blanket
The solace of sea and sky, and the deep, healing calm of a slow spring sunset. Just what I needed. I hope you too can find peace in this mad, mad world.
View over the sea to the Outer Hebrides from home.

Tunisian crochet blanket using wace effect stitch and various shades of green to blue. Not finished but getting bigger!
Been keeping myself to myself a bit for the last couple of weeks. Surprisingly making good progress on my #coloursofthesea blanket. Might be a correlation here?

Crochet blanket in early stages. In shades of green and blue to represent the colours of the sea, with a wavey stich pattern
Slowly growing the coloursofthesea blanket. Fudging any small errors as I'm the only one who knows they are there. Growing slowly but speeding up. #tunisiancrochet #blanket #coloursofthesea
