In my case words are classified by gender in order to preserve the distinction between French, Japanese, and German, and to mark where words have mixed origins.

I might phase these out for lexical marks denoting word origin. But for now it works fine. #conlangsky

What is the word for dinosaur in your conlang?

Literally, it means "terrible lizard". I was thinking of calling them "lizards of awe" or just rolling with the Greek.
