Hubertus von der Goltz 'Balance mit sich' Nauener Tor, Potsdam, Germany Schon 2005 träumte Hubertus von der Goltz von einer Skulptur zwischen den Türmen des Nauener Tors. Damals gewann er mit dieser Vision den Potsdamer Kunstpreis für visionäre Bilder, doch danach geschah viele Jahre nichts. Zu gewagt schien der Plan und die Ausführung am denkmalgeschützten Tor zu riskant. Der Initiative Vereins des Kunstvereins KunstHaus Potsdam ist es nun zu verdanken, dass dieses Kunstwerk von Mai 2024 bis August 2025 öffentlich gezeigt werden kann. Die Baudenkmalpflege Potsdam GmbH von Roland Schulze ist mit der Umsetzung betraut und setzt Fassadenkletterer ein, um die Skulptur auf das Dach zu bringen. “Derjenige, der balanciert, muss sich auf sich selbst und seinen Weg konzentrieren. Dies ist eine grundsätzliche menschliche Erfahrung”, sagt Hubertus von der Goltz und sieht Balance als Sinnbild für das eigene Leben mit seinen aktuellen Herausforderungen an.
