Tho one time, an #American nun at my #conventschool saw the #GeorgetteHeyer #novel I was reading and confiscated it because it contained #regency era #characters playing cards in gambling dens 😄

From my #conventschool years, let me tell you, this is accurate!

Not only did one of the #teachers give me a hard time ALL THE TIME, he *actually* gave me 7/10 for (correctly) drawing the skeletal upper body (উর্ধাঙ্গ), while giving her 10/10 for (wrongly) drawing the lower body (নিম্নাঙ্গ) instead!!! 😛

I remember having the mark and being afraid to knock any of it off 🙄 #ConventSchool
