An illustration of the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister!) busting out of the tower as usual. They look mostly like their 90s designs, except with thicker outlines, which are grayish-purple around their black and white parts. The background, which I largely based on a Google Maps street view, depicts Burbank and the San Fernando Valley, with the WB tower the Warners are bursting out of on the left side, and the back of the open door filling the center of the composition. Instead of the yellow and red it is in the show, the tower's exterior is a cream color, kind of in between the show and the real one.

Something I drew for Animaniacs' 30th anniversary back in 2023. I'm not happy with it anymore, but I think it's still worth sharing. 🛡️

Sketches of two furry ladies with Simpsonesque pearls and little frontward puffs of hair - a chubby hyena with dredlocks, spots, and a friendly grin, and a skinny poodle with a long snout and a disturbed, wide-eyed stare.

The original colored design doodles of each character. The hyena is just a portrait while the poodle is a fullbody. The hyena's hair/mane, nose, bottom lip, and inside of ear are black, her fur is two shades of brownish gray, her pearls are faded turquoise, her shirt is moss green, and her eyes are yellow and brown. The poodle's fur is white and light gray (I'll probably get rid of the gray bits), her shirt is yellow, her pearls are cream, her eyes are pale blue (plus a ring of darker blue in one eye), and she's wearing orchid purple shorts and chocolate brown flip-flops.

Concept doodles of a couple of characters I gave pearls (That's the Simpsons influence talking) + the original idea doodles from last year. There's also obvious influence from Shenzi and Mr. Peabody respectively.

A drawing of the titular reindeer from the Rankin-Bass special, smiling and staring at his own nose as it glows and reflects in his eye. It's generally very on-model, besides the eyes I made brown and added to which those weird horizontal pupils a lot of ungulates have. Rendered with a halftone texture, a glow effect behind him, and in front of a photo I took of the sky and snow in February of that year. (Although you can't see the snow, just the sky.)

Same as previous, but the sketch version drawn on paper in 0.5 pen and colored pencil. The notes read "reflection in eye" (pointing to the red spot on his eyes) and "No outline" (pointing to the edges of his lighter fur on his snout and neck)

A sketch of my wizard characters, a bitter teenage raccoon called Fang and his smiley little bat mom Veronica. She has one wing on his shoulder, and in the other one, a book reading “SPELLS & SUCH”. Fang is looking away and sneering in a very “Ewww moooom I love you but don’t show it” way. Now that it's not just a sketch I can describe the colors I guess. Fang has the fur color you'd expect from a raccoon, and yellow eyes. He's also got a burgundy robe on, and an orange shirt underneath. Veronica is a few shades of purple, with a fuschia tank top, blue shorts, and bright green eyes that kinda look like radar screens. (Plus a little white in the corner since she's looking way in one direction.) The spellbook is blue with golden text, a lighter blue wave shape, and white pentagrams. They’re both in front of a simple brown background.

Finished up that sketch from Halloween. For now their names are Fang and Veronica, and the latter is the mom to the former 🦝🦇📕🪄

Looking off to the side, with the whites in the corner (I think of the yellow as “further iris” rather than the white bit.) 2. Furrowed brow, irritated looking, with a sneer coming up from the “edge” of the doodle. 3. Shocked and wall-eyed. Pupils are small, one has the brown part as just a ring, and on the other the white is visible. 4. Pleading puppy dog eyes. Very big pupils and very pathetic. 5. Heart eyes and blushy. The pupils are red, and heart-shaped, as is the brown area. 6. Swirly eyes. Dizzy/hypnotized looking, though I think of it more as the former. Subtler blush, front-facing. 7. Different hypnotized eyes - color rings - with a more suggestive expression. Looking up with a woozy smile.
