I wanted to share this tip that may not be obvious to everyone but - you can use bobby pins to pin the sides of your wig down. Trust me it’ll hold the wig in place all day…especially those heavy wigs.

Been doing this for years and I still prefer a glue stick. I've seen other people use eyelash glue and other glues, but I like that a glue stick is washable, cheap, and doesn't hurt my face (I have super sensitive skin). It really is such a game changer!!

the new meta for making faux thigh highs is not to use powermesh for the waistband. Use whatever you used for the socks instead. Powermesh is much stretchier than spandex or jersey so your waistband ends up riding down through the day.

Tip for easy gloves, trace the pattern on the fabric itself, sew along the line you traced and then cut it out.
You should get near perfect results every time & it's so much easier then cutting it then trying to sew it

Wig a bit thinner than you anticipated and you don't have time to add wefts? Pick up a wave cap in a matching color from your local hair care store.
They are stretchy just like a wig cap but come in tons of colors.
