2021: Kid Cosmic This is the first Craig McKraken show I got to catch around the time it was airing (I eventually watched Wander over Yonder later). I loved the turning of the superhero team trope on its head, having the main character dealing with the reality of handling a slew of new powers. It was also neat to have the setting be in a place near to the one I live in. Like Spiderverse, it's an animation that feels like a comic book, which again works in favor of the subject matter. As short as the show's run was, I'm glad McKraken got to tell the story he wanted to tell.
