A unique one of a kind vintage 1960s 70s signed handmade mixed metals (bronze, copper, silver) geometric modernist Face design brooch. Entirely handmade in bronze with applied copper spiral 'eyes', applied silver 'nose', and applied bronze 'mouth'. The brooch was oxidized (black) in spots to outline the features of the 'face'. Makes an incredible statement! Measures 2-5/8" wide by 2-3/8" tall, and weighs 15.6 grams total. There are two applied squares at back of the silver 'nose' section as shown that look like there are (very obscure) markings on them, possibly letters or numbers. I can make out figures of some sort, but not what they are. In any case, this one of a kind piece of wearable art speaks for itself! Excellent vintage condition.
