#dailysthelens 2025-01-19
I took a break from Bluesky for a minute. So, I have some #dailysthelens posts to make up for. Here are a couple more recent ones.
#dailysthelens from sunset last night. Had some clear skies and a beautiful golden hour.
Barely a #dailysthelens peeking out from dark clouds this afternoon.

I was out of town today, and it was completely overcast, so here’s a #dailysthelens outtake.

I’ve been struggling to get good sunrise shots, partially because I’m relatively new to telephoto shots. It’s become clear to me (pun intended) that a tripod is a necessity. Even during daytime shots. Otherwise the images start to look like weird paintings. Daytime/tripod/Velvia.
I can see how these #dailysthelens shots are going to be challenging to keep somewhat distinct. This morning saw a slightly cloudy and moody sunrise from here on #mounttabor in #portlandoregon

Today’s #dailysthelens for you. I managed to catch this #alaskaairlines jet taking off from #pdx this morning.

I’m going to try something here that I don’t do on my IG account. We have a nice view of #mtsthelens where I live. So I’m going to try to post a #dailysthelens photo each day. The challenge will be to keep it from being too repetitive, and also, what to do on overcast days?
