Trying out #DalMakhani, Butter Naan & Tandoori Roti from #UssDaDhaba Premium, Mussoorie Road. The Dal Makhani was average. The visual richness and flavour of butter was totally missing & disappointing. The #ButterNaan & #Butter #TandooriRoti was of course good. Overall 4/5 #mysmokingtawa #foodreview

I made #DalMakhani last night. All #vegan. No #ghee, just oil. I was #Indian in a past life and make better #IndianFood than my Indian friends. The key is really the spices. Let the cumin and mustard seeds really fry in the oil before anything else, include the bay leaf. Try #tofu not #eggs!
