Probably not too much of a surprise given my whisky preference but the Port Wood was the standout, the port influence aside the price and higher ABV made it the better value offer and gave the older drams a run.

#DalmoreWhisky 21yo Palate: smooth sweet arrival: honey, caramel & a bite of ginger spice. Orange marmalade, hedgerow berries & figs provide the fruit notes. There's some marzipan, coffee chocolates and a little earthy. A little bite of citrus as the liquid disappears.
