Karkat is wearing a sage green winter coat and a candy red scarf that covers the bottom half of his face. Dave is wearing a burgundy trench coat, fuzzy brown ear muffs, his shades, and a face mask. It's a dark, snowy night, so probably around 4pm. In the first panel Dave holds Karkat close to him, hand on his shoulder, and throws up the millennial peace sign while saying "cheeeeeese" with the other. Karkat is taking a photo of them both. The next panel is zoomed in on their faces and Karkat looks to Dave and asks "did you smile?" Dave hesitates and says "...no." In the final panel, Karkat deletes the photo. Dave turns to him, shocked.

Dave and Karkat are on a sunny field full of ripe radishes. Dave is crouched on the dirt, swarmed by a bunch of wigglers, smiling up at Karkat who is visibly sore and sweaty, massaging his shoulder with one hand and holding a shovel with the other. There is a candy red wiggler crawling up Karkat's leg and pile of harvested radishes next to them. Also Karkat is wearing jean overalls. This is important to me. I think he looks cute in them.
