orgive me for getting deeply personal but this has been on my mind for a long time. . There have always been uncomfortable aspects of my religion. I used to be able to tuck those things away with the hope that someday it’ll all make sense. But as the years go by and more historical facts, personal accounts, and information has been made available to me, those things are no longer willing to stay tucked away. Instead I feel my foundation vanishing. My trust in my religion is eroding. Not much is left anymore. What hasn’t changed though is my love for Jesus Christ. In Him I have trust. So as I navigate the nuances of my faith, I do so with the Lord by my side. Rooted in Christ (and a Vanishing Foundation) Mixed media painting 8x18”
