Support rally for striking resident doctors yesterday at Homerton.

Well done to all who attended to show their support, it was really great to see everyone.

Doctors need our support, like other NHS staff, the value of their pay has plummeted over the last decade.

2.8% is not enough.
Anyone who thought Labour would support the NHS more - this shows we are going to have to battle them to prioritise the NHS.
We do this to defend decent care for patients as well as for ourselves.

We need more than 2.8% put aside for the NHS. The last pay rise was not fully funded which put even more pressure on NHS budgets.
We all need our NHS, we need to have staff to work in our NHS.
A 2.8% pay rise is not enough to keep staff and recruit new staff.
