A spectacular Parrot pitcher designed by Chato for Los Castillo, this example in silver-plate with inlaid stone handle and ‘eyes’. NFS. One of the more common pitchers by Los Castillo to be found, I’ve seen multiple dozens of examples and there seems to be a new one for sale online almost every month, but very popular with collectors nonetheless! I’ve only ever seen it in silver-plate, and I’m wondering if other versions were ever made. (Please let me know if you’ve seen other versions.) Measures 12” tall by 12” from handle to tip of beak!
