📡 As we are still in the process of setting up the agenda for DITA-OT Day 2026, we want to let you know that we are on the lookout for speakers on topics related to DITA-OT!

We look forward to seeing you in Brussels!
#ditaotday #ditaot #OxygenXML
They turned 9 weeks old today (we've had them under a week).
Now resisting the urge to broaden my #ditaot brand and turn this into a kitten picture account
Excited for some new things ahead!
To those who follow my work on #ditaxml, yes, I'm still going to be involved with OASIS and #ditaot ...
At #cmsconference someone at the closing #ditaxml 2.0 panel asked for an "Example list" element in bookmap.
I can't update DITA that fast... but look what's now available in the #ditaot plug-in registry! www.dita-ot.org/plugins
Now @jelovirt introduces the new DITA-OT plugin registry -- something people have only been asking about for 12 or 13 years. Now available in DITA-OT 3.2! #ditaot #ditaotday
At today's #ditaot contributor call, I expect we'll be finalizing logistics around #ditaotday -- it's just over a week away! Check out the agenda (and register for free!) here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/events/2018/dita-ot_day.html
Reminder - registration for #ditaotday is free! If you're making your travel plans for #ditaeurope, come a day early and add a whole second conference! #ditaxml #ditaot https://twitter.com/robander/status/1047836439856201729
Just finished connecting our OASIS #DITAXML repository to Travis for automated testing of DITA 2.0. Currently tests with #DITAOT 3.0.2 + latest DTDs/RNGs; still a long way to go, but we're under way with a clean build! https://travis-ci.org/oasis-tcs/dita
Curious how much deprecated markup you have in your #ditaxml? I made a #ditaot plugin to tell you: https://github.com/robander/deprecated-dita
Still a lot of time to update before those items go away...
If we hold another #ditaotday this year, what should be different?
My input: I'd like to see more about local #ditaot customizations or plugins, and see fewer emergency landings in Canada.
What about everybody else?
Happy New Year and welcome back to work, fellow #ditaxml folk. ICYMI, I'm looking for input on DITA or #DITAOT blog topics. "Ugly feature" is in the lead; poll still open for a couple days. Or reply with other topics you think I should write about!...
Planning some #ditaot or #ditaxml blogging for the new year. Not a resolution, more -- I want to do more of this. What should I start with?
Talking our own #ditaot docs at #ditaotday. If @infotexture looks grumpy it's just with presenter mode, docs are all good!
Original #ditaot preprocess will become legacy feature at some point (many outputs still using, will switch in future) #ditaotday
Another #ditaxml / #ditaot query -- anybody using the "delayed conref domain"? docs.oasis-open.org/dita/dita/v1.3/os/part2-... If yes - willing to share experience?
Are any #DITAOT users out there still building JavaHelp? Last heard "yes" a couple years ago; I'm curious if that's still going. #ditaxml
New #ditaot plugin download and how-to-adapt-this blog post now available for "html5zip" output with DITA-OT 2.5: http://metadita.org/toolkit/zippy.html
Sample #ditaot code for "html5zip" plugin is available here; can also be adapted for other transform types: github.com/robander/metadita.tutori...
Any #ditaot users need a plugin that will return a zip of HTML5, rather than lots of files? With DITA-OT 2.5, it's just a few lines of code!
Goal: make it easier to grab just this content & automate tests. Let me know if you find it useful, or have ideas for improvement! #ditaot https://twitter.com/robander/status/867409866347773952
But what if I don't want happy content?
Follow-up #DITAOT tutorial shows how to make your HTML just a bit more cat:

Happy HTML for happier content: my latest #DITAOT tutorial will bring smiles to your HTML5 builds http://metadita.org/toolkit/happyhtml.html
Done with #ditaotday for this year, on to #DITAEurope. I'll probably confuse my audience with talk of #ditaot jet packs today...
Now @jelovirt will amaze the audience with #ditaot preprocessing black box. Wow! Such DITA-OT! Much Preprocess! #ditaotday
Idea: new blog about how small teams (like #ditaot) use Git with DITA. Title: "GitaBitaDita". I'm thinking of you, @infotexture ...
DITA? DITA-OT? How do they overlap (or do they)? Time for a #DITA vs #DITAOT cage match! And/or a polite discussion. http://metadita.org/toolkit/ditaversusditaot.html
Trouble sleeping last night, couldn't stop thinking / dreaming about #ditaot. Any pull requests may need extra code review today.
Just released DITA-OT 2.2.5, latest patch for 2.2. Next up: 2.3! Downloads + release notes at http://dita-ot.org #ditaot
New #DITAOT patch plan: to reduce waits, release patch within 3 weeks of any fix. With that in mind, 2.2.4 is up: https://github.com/dita-ot/dita-ot/releases/tag/2.2.4
