Happy Caturday from #divineegypt! The exhibition closes Monday but is *spectacular*. If you have the chance to go see it before then it’s worth putting up with the crowds. (And I think very little is worth putting up with crowds.)

One thing I noticed in the #divineegypt exhibition at the @metmuseum.org is that Egyptian statues are often depicted striding as opposed to Greek (and subsequent western tradition) statues which are generally shown standing.
