MAKE A DRESS FOR YOUR 13CM ZERONI! You will need: 9mm wide ribbon, 22mm wide ribbon, thread, needle, scissors, ruler, small snaps. Option: lace, buttons. 1. Cut a 7cm piece of the 22mm ribbon. Hem the raw edges to make a trapezoid shape- this is the bodice of the dress. 4cm on top, 6cm on bottom. 2. Cut a 19cm piece of the 9mm ribbon for the waistband of the dress. Hem each end; should be 17cm after each end is hemmed. 3. Cut a 45cm piece of the 22mm ribbon; hem the raw ends, then pleat this onto the waistband. This is the skirt! You can use lace instead of ribbon. Overlap the wider ribbon half way up the waistband. 4. Center the bodice on the waistband and sew the longer edge on above the skirt. Keep all of your seams on the same side! Match your thread color to the waistband so the stitches show less on the front. You can also also try a box pleat, centered under the bodice.

5. Cut two 6cm pieces of the 9mm ribbon for the sleeves. Sew them on at slight angles from the top two corners of the bodice. The stitches will show on the dress front, so try sewing an "x" or accessorizing with a button or bead. Sleeves angled out to make a wide neck. 6. Sew snaps at each end of the waistband, one on the front, one on the back. 7. Sew the other ends of the sleeves to the back of the waistband. It's easier to put the dress on the doll to get the right placement, but they should be approximately 2cm from the ends of the waistband. 8. Play with the pattern! Try different color combos. Add lace, make a halter top, add a bow in the back. Have fun!
