Fencing up, car park laid out, experienced volunteers in for a site tour today. Fifteen on site and four in the Finds Station from Tuesday. The archaeology really begins then.

Concrete cleared by mid-morning, then back to emptying modern infill inside the chapel. Machine sequencing now critical. One wrong move and you’re stranded. Get it right and machining could wrap tomorrow.
