Doulas Provide Crucial Care to Mothers. Medicaid Cuts Could Change That. Funding for doulas may be safe in New York, for now. But elsewhere, health experts are concerned that President Trump's domestic policy law could jeopardize access to maternal care. Includes photo of doula, baby, and Mom.
They say they care about children, so pregnant women can’t get abortions in red states.
They say they care about kids, but don’t want to fund childcare, food assistance, meals in schools, or care for women giving birth.
