“Okay, Little Aster… open your eyes!” Blade pulled his hands away from Aster’s face, and honestly… it was a lot nicer to look at than he’d expected. The sculpture, bearing a striking resemblance to Aster himself, towered above them. The thing was solid gold, too— Aster could smell it anywhere. “Wow, Blade, this is… impressive!” Aster said with a grin, not even sugarcoating it. “Where’d you get all that gold?” “Oh!” Blade grinned. “I went into that biiiig safe in the basement, and I melted a bunch of that stuff down so I could use it!” Aster’s smile dropped instantly.
