Property owners in Calgary can register for the Agent Status Program through Calgary Police Service.
It allows officers to act on a property owner’s behalf in trespass situations without needing to contact them first.

Prince’s Island Park skating is now open ⛸️
Free Skate Saturdays start at 2 p.m., with free rentals for the first 50 skaters.
Beginner lessons start Jan 3. Weather and ice conditions apply.

Update: The Prince’s Island Park lagoon is open for public skating, but the Skate Shack isn’t expected to open until December 20.

Drone aerial photography will be taking place on November 21 from 7:30am to 9:00am on the sidewalks at 6 St SW at Eau Claire Ave SW.
There are no traffic or parking restrictions, and public access will not be blocked.
Weather backup dates are November 22 and 23.

River Hall’s next phase is underway. A new enclosed pavilion is planned for Stampede 2026, allowing year-round programming and events in Eau Claire. Work stays within Lot 6 and won’t affect 8th Street. More updates to come.
