This unique Maltese cross is surrounded by a marvelously detailed ring. Crafted in sterling silver in Jerusalem and may have been gilded at one time. I mention this because the back of the piece, where you would naturally expect to see the most wear is kind of golden. It could just be my old eyes. See photos. I think it’s quite old but wouldn’t hazard a guess on exactly how old. It comes on a flat link chain marked 925 and is just under 24”. This is a truly a rare find and a one of a kind piece.
