K'yalwenn leans forward, resting her chin on her hand as she regards him. Her expression has softened, the look in her eyes almost dreamy. Her voice is soft. "On that cliff in Kholusia... you kissed me like you loved me. And I knew. It could be no-one else but you. You always were romantic, Raha."
He lets out a surprised, genuine laugh, his eyes opening to look into hers. His hand moves to his heart again as he stutters. "Y-you called me Raha... 'Tis the first time anyone has called me that for a century. And yes, I love you... I have always loved you. My heart is yours. Always."
K'yalwenn jumps to her feet, pulling him up with her and fisting her hands into his robes as she pulls him closer still, kissing him with all the love and affection she has been holding inside all this time. His eyes flutter closed as he returns her kiss, both of them lost in the moment.

She brings a hand to her chin, considering him carefully until her expression lightens. "All right. I shall hear you out. Come, I'll make us some tea, and we can talk."
Both now seated at the table, the Exarch leans over, a hand to his forehead as he visibly struggles. His voice cracks a little as he speaks. "You must understand... I have thought about this moment countless times over the years, and frustratingly, I find myself struggling to find the right words."
K'yalwenn crosses her arms across her waist, her expression clearly unimpressed and more than a little hurt. Her tone rings with indignation as she responds. "You lied to me. I believed you. I trusted you. The attraction between us... I felt so guilty for wanting the Exarch while loving G'raha Tia... was ANYTHING real?"
Shocked, he straightens, his eyes finding hers even as they widen. "Y-Yes. Of course. Despite my deceptions... I was incapable of denying my feelings. It has been a very long time since the Find, but..."

K'yalwenn, in her nightwear, looks in confusion at her unexpected visitor (the Exarch, standing in the foreground). She asks, "Exarch? What brings you to my chambers... I was under the impression you did not wish to speak with me tonight."
He raises his spoken hand to his heart, his eyes searching hers as he speaks earnestly. "F-forgive me... I confess you caught me unawares, but I... I assure you, I very much wish to speak with you. About... everything."
K'yalwenn folds her arms, her expression becoming sad and shuttered. "If you have come to tell me more of what duty beholds us to, then I ask that you leave. I do not wish to hear it. Not after losing you again."
The Exarch's ears droop as he takes in her words, and his heart clenches as she avoids his eyes. "N-no, I did not come to tell you that, K'yalwenn. Please... might you allow me the chance to speak my mind?"

G'raha Tia leans against a tree in the Omphalos, his arms around K'yalwenn who sits in front of him. His eyes find hers as his expression becomes a little mischievous. She listens carefully as he speaks. "Tell me, my Yal... did you notice that the entrance to the Omphalos happens to be in the same place where we first made love?"
K'yalwenn's reaction is instant; her ears springing up and her mouth dropping open in surprise, eyes widening. G'raha just smiles as she reacts. "W-what? No, I confess I did not... But that means that the words we spoke back then... about being in the space where Time and Fate came into being... we were right!"

K'yalwenn smiles more as the Exarch settles back into a more comfortable seated position, her eyes still on his face. Her tone is somewhat amused as she continues: "Of course, that might have something to do with the fact that I fell in love with its leader."
His eyes move back to hers, his hands crossed in front of him in a relaxed position. He keeps a straight face as he answers. "Ah, is that so? Despite my attempts to distance myself from you? Unsuccessfully, I concede..."
He begins to smile, a fond look in his eyes as he regards her with admiration and affection. "But then, you have always been my weakness, my dearest Yalwenn."
K'yalwenn narrows her eyes a little, but it is an affectionate expression as her smile widens and she continues to look at him. "Oh, Raha... 'tis good to see that in some ways, you haven't changed one bit. Still romantic and sweet... and full glad I am of it. I missed you."

The Crystal Exarch and K'yalwenn can be seen from behind, sitting on a platform overlooking the Exedra and the Dossal Gate. The weather is clear and sunny. K'yalwenn says "This city really is beautiful, Raha."
The angle changes to show them from a side-on front view. K'yalwenn looks thoughtful as they both gaze out towards the Tower. She says "You should feel so incredibly proud of what you have done here. 'Tis mayhap the most welcoming city I have travelled to."
The Exarch's eyes snap to her, and he can't help the slightly goofy smile that crosses his face. He sounds a little incredulous as he says "Truly? You have travelled to some breathtaking places, I am certain."
She lowers her arms, raising her head as her eyes meet his and she smiles softly. "While that's true, I assure you that the Crystarium is the city that has felt most like home to me."
