Some #progress on my pink #economyblocks for Taryn @reproquiltlover #quiltalong called #scrappymeetsthriftchallenge.
These #quiltblocks are made from my #scraps and are now 2.5 inch unfinished size.

I admired all the beautiful #economyblocks and signed up for Taryn @reproquiltlover #quiltalong - #scrappymeetsthriftchallenge. These #quiltblocks are my first try to see if my #scraps work with the 2.5 inch unfinished size.

Traditional economy blocks with the same focus fabric in the center of the blocks, but in different color ways. The focus fabric features a typewriter. One set of blocks are in black, pink and orange. The other set is in green and cream. The blocks are set on a light blue rotary cutting mat, next to a white and grey handled rotary cutter.

First two sets of #economyblocks made for the #RubyStarBlockSwap2024. My plan is to make a set every day through Friday, which will get me to my original commitment of 5 sets.

I visit my aunt this weekend. But when I’m back, I’m hoping to zoom through another 5 sets.
