This is us after reaching Roland’s house in Kitui. We had breakfast together and then spent time watching many videos about the work he does in permaculture. Everyone is smiling and relaxed, enjoying the first moments of our training journey.

Inside Roland’s creative village home in Kitui, we sat together watching his television that runs fully on solar energy. The house is built with unique designs and decorated with colorful bottles, showing his innovation and love for sustainable living.

Yesterday I moved to Kawempe and found many youths, but it hurt me to see them smoking 🚬, marijuana, and chewing leaves like cocaine. Instead of building ideas to change the world, they pollute themselves. I wonder how their families will be.
