A painting of a black bowl, filled with ramen. The broth is a rusty shade of red, and hides most of the noodles, though a few still peek above the surface. Several pieces of pork rest on them in the center, topped with pink pickled ginger, simplified to a few bright pink dashes, and green onions, also simplified to just be a few green circles and shaded dashes. A hard boiled egg sits towards the top of the bowl, cut in half, the yolks bright and whites stained a shade of pale brown. Flecks of spices and sesame seeds are scattered around the bowl.
A picture of the real bowl of ramen described in the other image, the wood grain of the table now visible, along with a small bottle of sake, and plate edamame set off to the side.

This year, I gave myself an hour time limit, and I'm really happy with the result!
The reference is my bowl of spicy tonkatsu ramen, with a soy marinated egg (:
