Outmoded Models To be a man, defined and certified, Stoic, reserved, and asking for nothing, Rough hands, dry lips, always alert tired eyes, A Greek alphabet of choices for labels, Pulling bootstraps over colorless socks, Last name a legacy, that must endure, The deed on which future foundations are built. To be a man, so judged, and expectant, Juggle the providing with protecting. Defining the role is clearly man's work.
