So, I am really REALLY loving this tablet. The work was fast and I loved the control I had. Even without touchscreen, I got the flow down pretty quick! So, here's a new version of #Emmie! Along with her original artwork from mid 2024. I think I've improved a smidge, heh.

A quick screenshot of my current work in progress of my child OC Emmie, a Rogue assassin with a tragic tale. Here she's seen having a normal standing stance but showing her hold on to one of her daggers and having it up close to the person looking at her (or that she's looking at). Drawn in Krita for Linux using the XPPen Artist pro 14 Gen2 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

I am really loving this new tablet! So much more screen space and everything! I need a stand for it, though, since the current angle it's at is meh. Either way, here's my current WIP of #Emmie's full body. I also have armor ready to go, but I wanted the pose done first 🙂‍↕️

A quick screenshot of a side by side comparison of my old OC Emmie with a very low opacity version of her new redesign which is much closer to what I wanted. Some lore will be given when it's done! In the old version, she has fluffy, curly hair with a short ponytail and a hair accessory, a scarf-like accessory that didn't really make any sense at the time and with her smile can be seen missing a tooth since that would be a baby tooth she's missing. Her name is also above her head, written almost like a child might write it with two daggers crossed together showing she is a Rogue class. The new redesign is her invoking the demon side of herself, looking down at someone or something, ready to kill. She has greater pronounced bangs and hair covering her left eye and short hair. She also has an earring on.

Sometimes you just wanna redraw an old OC after you've gotten some practice 🙂‍↕️
