Practice for drawing interior scenes. Thank you @kai_.m_ for the photo reference of the interior. I feel lucky to have those as references for the comic. This was a quicker practice and unfortunately not on watercolor paper, but I will be recreating it with our characters. Here are some notes learned for anyone that may care. - gouache works better for objects and fine details - watercolor seems good to shading and lighting of large areas - white gouache for window dust glare - wait for things to dry damnit! - Fine shading on clothes becomes near impossible with watercolor as the scale gets smaller, try gouache next time. #furry #furryart #rat #watercolor #ephemeralstops
